Poverty and Death

          Hunger, poverty, diseases and illnesses, these are the silent killers of children all around the world. The number of children dying all around the world increases each year, and right now 22,000 children in the world die each day. Many children can’t afford food, and can barely have one meal a day; some children even skip a day of food because of poverty. Some countries are filled with deadly diseases and illnesses, and a lot of these children in these types of countries such as Africa don’t have enough money to get immunization to these illnesses. Many children all around the world, experience the pain and suffering of poverty which can lead them to a terrible life style or even death.

              In the world, children face horrible fates which are extremely surprising to people who don’t experience the harm of poverty. In the world, 22,000 children die each day.1 child dying every four seconds.15 children dying every minute. That’s like a 2010 Haiti earthquake, or a 2004 Asian tsunami happening every ten days. There are 8.1 children dying every year. There was 88 million children died between 2000 and 2009.These statistics are scary, but faces us with the truth of the real world.

          Poverty has taken away many children’s lives; the children who survived are faced with a terrible lifestyle. Around the world 2.5 billion people lack the access of improved sanitization. 1 billion children are deprived of one or more services essential to survival and development. 148 million under 5 years old in developing regions are underweight for their age. 101 million children are not attending primary school, with more girls than boys missing out22 million infants are not protected from diseases by routine immunization. 8 million children worldwide died before their 5th birthday in 20094 million newborns worldwide are dying in the first month of life. 2 million children fewer than 15 are living with HIV .Poverty is everywhere where it is least expected.

          Deaths, poverty they are both connected and have caused much trouble in the world. People who are involved in poverty are missing out in the beauty of life. The terrifying statistics about poverty and death, gives us the sight of what the real world is like. Not all people have an average salary, not all people can afford a three coarse meal, and not all people can survive.

Gay Pride

          Equality, whenever you hear that word you think of people from different cultures, different skin tones but equality isn’t all about that. Gay people and lesbians, in our society some people don’t accept them, in the whole world some people don’t accept them. Equality isn’t only about accepting people from other countries ,its about accepting people as a whole, no matter whether they are black or white, are gay, are a lesbian. In the world today people who are gay are made fun of, people are disgusted by them, I don’t think this is right. Gay people and lesbians should have the right to do what they want to do, they aren’t hurting anyone, and they aren’t causing any harm to the society so we should just let them be. All people have the rights to do what they want to do; there aren’t rules that detain us from letting out the person inside of us, showing our true colors. Gay people should be able to express there love and emotions for people of the same gender, they should have the right to marry each other, people shouldn’t treat them as outcasts; they are just like you and me.

          When gay people and lesbians hold hands in public, dress in a fashion to show that they are gay, people look at them differently. Some people just don’t accept these people in our community, in our world. When gay people turn their backs people make fun about them, say cruel things about them. Gay people are stared at, given dirty looks by others. But it don’t see anything wrong in gay people and lesbians they just are interested in people from the same gender as them, they aren’t out killing people so why are some people making such a big deal out of it? Is there really a problem with people likening someone from the same gender? Gay people are just like you and I, we all have different interests and different perspectives of life but inside we are all equal and should be treated that way. Gay people and lesbians should have the freedom to do whatever they want, to show affection of someone from the same gender, they should have the freedom to dress the way they want to. It may seem different seeing two men holding hands when their walking down the street, but they aren’t hurting anyone, they shouldn’t be made fun of, they should be treated equally as others.

          Gay people and lesbians are people to, there like you and me, so why are they treated like aliens, outcast, wild animals .They are being made fun of, teased every single day about there beliefs, about their interest I just think this is completely wrong. equality is usually a term used between peoples backgrounds but people should realize it applies to gay people as well .Gay people should have the rights to like someone from the same gender as them, the rights to marry a person that’s the same gender as them. Why do some people see them differently? Why do some people make fun of them? Why do people stare at them? Gay people are human beings too, everyone from the outside is different, but from the inside we are all the same and should be treated that way.

Rasicm,Discrimination and Stereotypes

          Skin color, race, and appearance, everyone’s different in their own special way but we should all be treated equally. Doesn’t matter about how we look like, our skin color, what country we are from, this doesn’t make anyone deserve racial discrimination, racist comments and stereotypes. They shouldn’t be attacked by the treacherous and mocking words they hear from other people about them. There are many stereotypes circling the world about people from other countries that are truly wrong and racist. These comments can really hurt people, and makes them not proud about their culture. Everyone should be proud of the country there from, and be proud of who they are. Racism and stereotypes decrease their self esteem and make them feel sad, depressed, ashamed, and even angry to be from the country they are from. These comments, these remarks haunt people for the rest of their lives, people get treated unequally from others just because of their race, and this should be stopped.

          Black skin tones, white skin tones, tan skin tones shouldn’t be a problem in the world, there just the color of out skin. People get racist comments, discriminated and are not treated equally every day just by the color of their skin. For example some people look at people with black skin tones funny, staring rudely at them and talking behind their backs. People even tend to become rude when a black person comes up to them to ask them a question. They stare, ignore them or answer them in a rude manner. Some black people even get arrested some times for having a “suspicion” by the police of committing a crime; this is mostly influenced by their color. People with different colored skin tones should not be treated this way and doesn’t deserve in anyway this type of disrespect.

          Cruel people like to tell people something about someone that is completely not true, but just thought so because of their skin tone and culture .This is very brutal upon people who are made fun of because of rumors that spread around because of their race, this is called stereotyping. When people look at you and assume that you are for example a criminal, trouble maker, just because your black is totally untrue and unacceptable. These comments can really hurt someone. People get teased, and people are scared of you just because of your skin tone and culture. There are many stereotypes everywhere that are told about certain cultures that are completely not true. For example all Asian have a rice cooker and a karaoke machine, and people tend to refer to Asian people skin tones as “yellow”. White people are apparently not good dancers and have name brand designer clothes, this isn’t true at all. People get hurt about these stereotypes that are heard everywhere, it influences others thoughts about people when it is completely not true.

           Why are people discriminated because of their culture? Why do some people believe stereotypes that are completely untrue and apply them to others? Why do people treat others unequally just because of their skin tones? People are hurt, mentally and even physically from hearing lies about them that people tend to think are true. People are people, humans are humans, everyone’s appearance may be different but inside we are all the same. People have to stop discriminating others. People have to stop treating others unequally. People have to stop hurting people by the things they say and do. We can change. We can make a difference out in the world. Everyone is equal and should be treated equally.

Animal Testing

         Dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies and rats are pets that are love, respected and treated as best friends to their owner’s .Animals are a big part of our society and a big part of our planet. Animals such as dogs and cats comfort and make their owners happy .Some dogs are even brought to hospitals to cheer patients up. Animals have a huge impact on our emotions, when were sad they make us happy, when we need to talk to someone they’re always there to listen. Animals also keep the food chain in our planet alive and healthy. Extinct and endangered animals can have a big impact on our planet. Without all the animals our food chain will collapse, that would make a terrible impact on the environment and even on us. Unfortunately about thirty three animals die world wide because of animal testing. In 1990-1997 research labs registered with the USDA reported killing at least 12,895,885 dogs, cats, primates, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, bears, armadillos, squirrels and wild rodents ,the number of deaths increase each year. Animal testing is like murder, animals are trapped in cages, tested on by many harmful chemicals and then once the result is recorded they are killed .Most of the time, the results of animal testing is wrong to humans and can affect us massively. There are many other alternatives than to kill animals slowly by testing things on them .Animal testing is torture, its murder, it’s not right.

          Just because animals don’t look like humans doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be treated unequally .Animals are like us and should not be tortured through animal testing because of this. Many animals are murdered and killed for all the harmful solutions and chemicals that are put in there body .Many animals suffer the cause of the reactions of some chemicals. They are just put back in their cages even though you can physically see there sorrow and suffering in their eyes. Millions of animals are killed from this torture every day, this just isn’t right. These animals suffer, all the consequences of animal testing when they did nothing to deserve this kind of pain .This is cruel, painful and a horrible way to die.

          Animal testing is cruel, treacherous and pointless. Human bodies and animals are different in how they work. Scientists who tests harmful chemicals on animals think they can solve a problem by doing so, well their wrong. Because of our different body structure the results of animal testing isn’t 100%accurate.Research reveals that only 5 to 25% of the animal tests and human results are agreeable! Most of the drugs passed by animal tests are now discarded as useless to humans – then why test in the first place? 88% of still-births on record are caused by drugs that are passed as ‘safe’ in animal tests. The fear and stress that the animals encounter in the labs can affect experiments, making the results meaningless.40%of humans show side effects that are supposed to be safe through animal testing. Animals are no different from us, they have a life and they should live every minute to the fullest rather than being stuck in a cage, suffering from the tests they have to go through.

          Why do animals have to be the one who suffers the pain of animal testing? There is no point anyway since not all of the results of animal testing are accurate, so why bother? The world of science has on record more than 400 methods that can effectively replace animal experiments, so why can’t we do that instead of animal testing? These methods include studies on human tissue culture, statistics and computer models. These methods would set the animals that were locked up in cages for research free and to let them go on with their lives.

          Cruelty torture, pain, suffering, sorrow, this is what all the animals are experiencing when they undergo animal testing. So many animals are killed by harmful chemicals for research that isn’t even 100%accurate.Animals doesn’t deserve this kind of torture. Animals are just like people and should not be treated this way. These animals have lives, that shouldn’t be spent in cages. Animals should be respected and treated the way you want them to treat you. Death is the only thing that the animals get for being researched on.

Anti - Abortion

          Abortion is a huge controversy throughout the world. Debates, arguments go back and forth about whether abortion should be legal or not. In my opinion I do not support abortion. This is like a murder, taking away an innocent life and that life is from a baby. In religious purposes it a sin. It can also kill the mother. Abortion is taking away an unborn baby out of a mother’s womb before it can experience life here on earth; I think this is just not right.

          Cutting up the baby and taking away its decapitated parts out from its mothers womb is basically what abortion is. Babies who have been aborted haven’t even seen there parents yet , they haven’t experienced the love and care from people around them, these babies had their life taken away before experiencing these beautiful things about life. They have not lived life to the fullest. These babies are innocent, they have not done anything wrong ,they did not do anything that will make them deserve this kind of torture.

          Abortion in religious purposes is a sin. The sixth commandment states " thou shall not kill" and abortion is when you kill an unborn child. Just because babies in their mothers womb are not born yet, doesn’t mean they are not human. These babies are like me and you, we were at that stage in the present when we were in our mothers womb. An unborn baby is a human and shouldn’t be taken for granted, that just because they are not born yet it is okay to kill them through abortion.

          Abortion does not only harm unborn babies, it can also harm and potentially kill the mother of the baby .Abortion is a very cruel and dangerous procedure done to take the life away of unwanted babies. Abortion can cause many health issues that are very dangerous to the woman’s body and can lead to death .This includes pelvic inflammatory disease which can damage the pelvis .Late in life abortion can even cause cervical cancer. It is estimated that three thousand women die from cervical cancer each year. This can also lead to complications of future pregnancies if you regret having an abortion and want another child. These complications include a high chance of miscarriage and premature births. In some cases it can also lead to infertility. Worldwide approximately 13% fo 600 00 pregnancies related death result from unsafe abortion ,example: unsanitary utensils.

          There is something else that mothers that have had an abortion goes through and that’s the emotional pain. Of course there is pain in having an abortion because you are basically letting a doctor kill your child that is part of you, that has grown inside of you, that is your very own baby. Emotional pain from having an abortion includes pain, guilt, anger and sadness. These emotions can follow you, mock you, and haunt you for a very long time.

 

          Some people may have said that they have been raped ,in an abusive relationship or can’t afford having to take care of a baby ,that’s why they want an abortion. But think about it ,just because of those reasons you would let these doctors you have never seen before rip you baby out of your womb. You’d rather see the baby lifeless ,suffering, with its decapitated parts everywhere rather than seeing you baby in two years running everywhere ,laughing, smiling ,having fun with their life ahead of them. What would you chose ?If you have been raped or in an abusive relationship and don’t want to keep the baby just because you were in this situation isn’t right. Just because you did not like the babies father doesn’t mean that you would kill your own baby. Think about it your baby would never become your baby without you. Just because of an unjust father, the baby is also yours. Your baby has been growing in your womb ,its your baby and belongs to you as well. Your baby is part of you .Imagine your child after two years when you refuse to have an abortion ,you’d be together all the time ,playing, laughing ,and having fun with life. Wouldn’t you want to have a life like that? If you cannot afford to take care of your baby you can go to the sisters of life, they will take you in with open arms and help you raise your child. No matter how old you are there are people who will love and care for you and your baby. Don’t give up .There are many choices you can choose to save your babies life other than abortion, don’t give up ,save a life.
